What we collect

When you play FivLet without signing in, we collect a temporary guest token tied to your browser to enforce daily play limits. This token is not linked to any personal information.

When you sign in with Google, we collect your Google account email address, display name, and a unique user ID. We store this in Firebase Firestore to track your game history, wins, and leaderboard position.

We also collect basic usage data via Google Analytics (Firebase Analytics) including page views, session length, and game events such as wins, losses, and hint usage.

How we use your data

Your data is used to provide the game, enforce daily play limits, display leaderboard rankings, and improve the game experience. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Advertising

FivLet displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to show you personalized ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized ads via Google's Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com.

Payments

Premium subscriptions on web are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details. On Android, purchases are handled by Google Play. Please refer to Stripe's and Google's privacy policies for details on how they handle payment data.

Cookies

We use cookies for authentication (keeping you signed in), analytics (understanding how the game is used), and advertising (serving relevant ads). You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect game functionality.

Data retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. Guest session tokens expire after 180 days. You can request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To make a request, contact us via the contact page.

Children

FivLet is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
